Skin

I used to have a very bad skin. I suffered from acne back in my high school, when I was around 14-16 years old. I was so upset and annoyed because no any single facial products could cure the acne. Even the prescription from the skin specialist didn't work. I felt like dying and didn't want to meet people because I had red, bumpy and oily skin. I was so fed up and there was nothing I can do beside hatred and dissapointment.

Not until I found a skin care product, NuSkin, introduced by a lady in 2002. We were in the same trip to China back then. She examined my affected skin and convinced me that NuSkin was the solution to it. I was so excited and my mom immediately bought a set of NuSkin basic facecare after the trip. The set consisted of cleansing gel, toner, mosturizer and mask.

My skin improved tremendously after using NuSkin for a month. The pimples began to dried up and I no longer have those red, bumpy and uneven skin although there were still occasional break outs.

A year after, I came to Australia for my foundation studies. That was the year where my skin completely cleared up. I think partly because the weather here is dry and cool so I don't get pimples that easily compared to warm and humid Malaysian weather. So I continued to use NuSkin for another 4 years before I changed to Biotherm.

I am now using a mixture of Biotherm, Kose and Clarins.

Kose
Cleansing, toner, mosturizer.

Biotherm
Mask, eye cream, SPF 25 base and scrub.

Clarins
Pore minising serum

I want a crystal clear skin =)

Err... no topic

While I insert all my certificates into the file, I realised I have taken a long journey to what I have now. From UPSR exam in Year 6 till my masters degree in accounting, a long and not regrettable process. This whole process has teach me how to be strong and never to give up on whatever I do.

The most painful experience during the process is when I have decided to discontinue my Bachelor of Planning and Design (Property and Construction) in Melb Uni and changed to Bachelor of Business and Commerce in Monash Malaysia. My 1 year transition in KL is a tough one. I don't know how to explain it now but it was truely a sad one. I have recorded the KL experience in my old blog and I could not possibly forget it.

What I am proud of myself is, I have studied 4 types of undergraduate degrees, 3 incomplete and the one and only degree that I have successfully completed is Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance).

My first attempt in year 2004 is Bachelor of Planning and Design (Property and Construction), second attempt in year 2005 is Business and Economics - Single Undergraduate and third attempt is Bachelor of Business and Commerce in the first half of year 2006. Wwuuaaahhhh ......

Suddenly, I don't know what to write anymore. My mind turn blank. But I really thank God for guiding my way to what I am now.

Gateway to accounting profession

I have completed 3 CPA units so far.
CPA 108 Reporting and Professional Practice
CPA 107 Corporate Governance and Accountability
CPA 111 Contemporary Issues in Financial Accounting

And currently, I am enrolled in CPA 101 Assurance Services and Auditing. (All the CPA unit titles are long. Don't ask me why =.=) It means that I still have remaining two units to complete the program. I couldn't believe I am already half way through the CPA program. But still, I need three years working experience to advance to CPA member. Bear in mind that I am only an associate member which is still an amateur.

Where is the job? Please please please....

I realised that the units emphasise on complying various Australian Laws and also on "pendidikan moral". Wow, pendidikan moral which I learn in primary and high school is applied in CPA. This is the fact that Australian companies especially the listed one, are tightly regulated to prevent nasty things happen that can cause the investors to lose their money. They are also regulated to prevent giant corporate collapse, like the Enron and HIH, that can cause huge impacts on the economies. So, we as professional accountant or auditor not only to make sure that all financial reports are to be prepared in accordance to Accounting Standards and Corporation Acts but also to boost the investors confidence that they are not dumping their money to the ocean. haha... enough of these boring stuffs

Oh...This marks the final semester of my masters degree... hahaha...I feel relieved and finally.... What a long journey~

Going home very soon!

This is pretty much the end of my semester 1 year 2009. I had practically spend the whole semester on study-assignments-work and nothing else. There are no entertainments, outing or shopping which explains why I don't even bother to blog.

I believe hard works pay off and yes, I've threw-in third quarter of my time in this semester in studying 2 CPAs. This is so ridiculous because I didn't even have time to do other things except part time work. I was so stressed out and yelled for help but I was so determined and persevered that I have gone through at least twice on 15 modules before going for the exams. And the results were only OK because I expected at least a D in my CPA 111 but ending up a C - I have no idea what I've done wrong. For the least expected, CPA107 - I got a D. *rolled eyes* Ah well, I'm waiting for the personal analysis report which will be released tomorrow to see which modules I've done badly.

Nevertheless, I quite enjoyed my part time work. The kids are cute and smart. To be able to instruct and teach them to be independent is my greatest accomplishment. I wonder if I'll ending up becoming a teacher instead of accountant and if it happens, my parents gonna kill me for sure because they have invested million on my accounting degree. lol.

I will be heading back to malaysia next saturday and I'll stop over KL before touching down SDK. I can't wait to see Diana and this will be the first time we meet since her graduation 3 years ago.

I guess I've run all the errands and gonna move to a new property next week. I was so relieved that I've settled all the things. Start packing and more to come!

sleepless

I'm still awake at this hour. I can still hear people screaming and laughing on the street which annoy me because I can't fall asleep with the sound they make. I want to move to a quieter place! *brrgghh*
